I Vini del 2021: le presentazioni

The 2021 Chianti Classico Caparsa, Chianti Classico Riserva Caparsino and Chianti Classico Riserva Doccio a Matteo were scheduled for presentation at the Chianti Classico Collection in Florence on 17–18 February 2025, the Slow Wine Fair in Bologna on 23–25 February and Terre di Toscana at Lido di Camaiore on 23–24 March.

Caparsa held the 2021 wines back by an additional year to optimise maturation. The vintage came from what the family regarded as the finest grapes yet harvested at the estate. Although the year was hot, the site and two August storms helped produce full, healthy fruit. The resulting wines were described in terms of intensity and finesse and were also made available through direct sale at Caparsa.
