Gran Selezione 2021
The estate’s vineyards have historically extended across Castellina in Chianti, Castelnuovo Berardenga and Radda in Chianti. Beginning with the 2017 harvest, the family expressed these distinctions through three Chianti Classico Gran Selezione crus. The 2021 growing season began with a cold, relatively dry winter, followed by a cool spring with sufficient rain and a long, hot summer moderated by good day–night temperature changes. Vegetative development started slowly but recovered as the season progressed. The harvest brought healthy, high-quality grapes with thick skins, promising structured yet fresh and balanced wines.
