Vino al Vino 2020

Vino al Vino 2020 was scheduled for 19–20 September, from 10:00 to 18:00, as a special itinerant edition centred on the estates of the Unione Viticoltori di Panzano in Chianti. The format responded to the uncertainty and public-health requirements of the COVID-19 period while maintaining a tradition that had connected Panzano’s residents and winegrowers each September since 1995.

Instead of gathering all producers in the usual central format, visitors began at Piazza Bucciarelli, where a single stand supplied the event glass, practical information and a map of suggested routes. Participants then travelled independently to the member estates for tastings of Chianti Classico Annata, Riserva, Gran Selezione and IGT wines.

The event involved 22 estates and emphasised direct contact between visitors and growers, the local landscape and Panzano’s concept of “bio-territoriality.” Castello dei Rampolla participated as a member of the Unione Viticoltori di Panzano in Chianti.
