BOLLETTINO FITOSANITARIO VITE: 14 LUGLIO 2026

Rising temperatures followed recent rain, with additional local precipitation possible. Treatments were recommended during cooler hours to prevent phytotoxicity, particularly when using sulphur. Sunburn-sensitive Corvina and Corvinone could receive localized protection with calcium-magnesium oxide, kaolin, rock powder or zeolite. Young vines and poorly retentive soils required emergency irrigation; Castelrotto showed 19 mm of residual soil water.

Copper remained the principal downy-mildew cover, while sulphur protection continued for powdery mildew. Botrytis risk was low, but hail injuries remained potential infection sites. The bulletin also addressed Esca, Flavescence Dorée, Lobesia botrana, Popillia japonica and Planococcus ficus. Symptomatic yellowing vines were to be cut back and removed, while vigorous sites required continued topping and aeration.

Calcium and magnesium nutrition was recommended through veraison to strengthen skins and limit rachis desiccation. SQNPI enrolment was extended to 25 July, with technical assistance available from the cooperative.
