BOLLETTINO FITOSANITARIO VITE: 28 LUGLIO 2026

Stable weather and rising temperatures accompanied full veraison, BBCH 83, although later areas remained at bunch closure. Young vineyards and soils with low water retention required emergency irrigation; Castelrotto retained 16 mm of soil water and remained under moderate stress.

Sunburn protection remained relevant for Corvina and Corvinone that had not entered veraison. Calcium-magnesium oxide, kaolin, rock powder and zeolite were recommended only along the fruit zone. Downy-mildew pressure was declining, allowing longer intervals while maintaining copper protection on young, humid or late sites. Powdery mildew still required sulphur or bicarbonate protection, and Botrytis prevention focused on bunch aeration and possible microbiological or terpene treatments before harvest.

The bulletin called for continued monitoring and removal of vines symptomatic of Flavescence Dorée, reported the third flight of Lobesia botrana, and recommended beneficial insects against Planococcus ficus. Topping, calcium-magnesium foliar nutrition and advance warning to neighbouring residents before treatments completed the guidance.
