Wine and tastings for Valentine’s Day

The Valentine’s selection included a two-person Authentic Experience with four wines including one Barolo, and a more Barolo-focused tasting of five wines including Barolo Classico, Barolo Persiera and Barolo Riserva. A cellar lunch paired a guided visit with four wines, three traditional Piedmontese starters and a regional dessert.

Other options included truffle hunting with a trifulau and tabui in local woods, followed by a winery visit, four-wine tasting, cured meats and cheeses; and a vineyard picnic with a guided visit, four-wine tasting and a prepared box containing three Piedmontese starters, bread, water, dessert and tableware. The picnic package also included a choice of Barbera d’Alba Superiore or Langhe Nebbiolo and a branded corkscrew.

A custom-value voucher could be used for experiences or bottles. A mixed six-bottle box could be assembled from the available wine and estate-product selection for collection or shipment within Italy. Vouchers were valid for one year, with activities subject to reservation and availability.
