La Roncaia is one of the 100 best wineries in the world

The Drinks Business included La Roncaia among 100 leading wineries in its February 2020 supplement, The Master Winemaker 100. The guide selected notable winemaking personalities and recognized Gabriele Tami following the success of La Roncaia Pinot Grigio 2017 at The Pinot Grigio Masters.

Marco Fantinel linked the recognition to the quality programme begun in 2016, when Tami joined the Cergneu di Nimis cellar and assumed complete responsibility for its operation. Tami had grown up in a Collio winegrowing family, graduated in Oenology and Viticulture from the University of Udine and gained experience in Bordeaux and Hawke’s Bay before returning to Friuli.
