Its creation accompanied a period of development that included a comprehensive reorganization of the hospitality area at Poggio Casciano. Oenologist Alberto Antonini, educated in Bordeaux, Florence and at UC Davis, and agronomist Stefano Poni, professor of viticulture at the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore and director of the VENIT Master in Sustainable Viticulture, were appointed to contribute their respective expertise.
