The Carapace named Winery Architecture of the Year

The Wineries of Italy guide, edited by the Go Wine association, named the Carapace its Winery Architecture of the Year and described it as a “phenomenal winery.” The prize was presented on 3 December at the Michelangelo Hotel in Milan.

The recognition followed the UNESCO Club La Fabbrica nel Paesaggio award received two years earlier and focused on the architectural achievement of Pomodoro’s winery emerging from the Umbrian hills.
