Participation in the Terra-Aria-Acqua biodiversity project

On World Biodiversity Day, Gruppo Lunelli joined the launch of Terra-Aria-Acqua, created by the Associazione Culturale Biodistretto di Trento with MUSE–Museo delle Scienze and the Comune di Trento.

The initiative promotes innovative territorial management by connecting agricultural and urban environments. It focuses on landscape biodiversity and local identity, uses scientific monitoring and gives farms tools for environmental improvement.

The participation followed more than a decade of work under the Ferrari Protocol for healthy and sustainable mountain viticulture, which led to organic certification of all family-owned Trentino vineyards. Traditional practices, selected plant species supporting bees, and greater attention to soil, air and water had also improved the surrounding agricultural landscape and encouraged natural enemies of vineyard pests. Biodiversity Friend certification had recognised this transformation in 2015.
