Domus Vitae is the new Bottega winery in Montalcino

Bottega S.p.A. took possession of the Domus Vitae estate on 11 November 2019. Located near Camigliano in the south-western part of the Montalcino denomination, the property comprised 83 ha, divided between 75 ha of woodland and 8 ha of vineyards.

A 19th-century Sienese cassero, formerly used to defend the territory, housed the facilities for vinifying and maturing Brunello di Montalcino, Brunello Riserva, Rosso di Montalcino and Sant’Antimo. The acquisition was presented as an investment in an established Montalcino wine operation already recognised in Italy and international markets for its red wines.
