Vinification
The three varieties are vinified separately in temperature-controlled stainless-steel tanks at the Santa Cristina winery, on the outskirts of Cortona. The winery was built in 2006 and uses modern production technology. Separate vinification preserves the grapes’ natural aromas and contributes to the complexity of the bouquet.
Tasting profile
The bouquet combines fruity notes from Sangiovese with spicy touches from Merlot and Canaiolo Nero.
