A grape that wants sun and sea air: near the coast its half-loose bunches escape the rot that finds them inland. It buds in the first days of April and crops heavily and reliably. In Gallura and across Sardinia the wine is pale straw with green glints, fresh and savoury, closing on a faint bitterness.
