The grapes are grown in hillside vineyards in Provincia di Pavia, northern Italy.

Vinification

The grapes are crushed and gently pressed. The juice is settled before fermentation in stainless-steel tanks at 16–18 °C.

Ageing

The wine rests on its fine lees for 3–6 months before bottling.

Tasting profile

Refreshing and crisp, with notes of citrus, herbs and ripe fruit.

Serving and pairing

Pairs with Parma ham, prawn cocktail, and Indian and Chinese dishes.

Label / history

Adria Vini was founded in 2003 as a joint venture between Boutinot and Araldica Castelvero, established to produce Italian wines from local grape varieties. Production is overseen by Claudio Manera of Araldica Castelvero and Lella Burdese of Boutinot’s Italian division, from grape selection through winemaking, maturation, blending and bottling.
