Made using the traditional Tuscan governo method. After the first fermentation, dried, partially withered grapes are added to the must.

Strong in character, with an intense aroma and a rich yet gentle palate.
Label / history
The Duca di Saragnano brand takes its name from Duke di Saragnano, a warrior who fought the Saracens for the freedom of Southern Italy. Luigi Barbanera, an ancestor of the Barbanera family, was a close friend of the Duke.
The wine received gold medals at the Berliner Wein Trophy in 2016 and 2017, a bronze medal at the 2017 International Wine & Spirit Competition, and a bronze medal at Decanter in 2016.
