Label / history

Ser Passo belongs to the Barbanera Since 1938 collection, which the producer calls "a festive element alongside the tradition of many generations that has guided our work". The collection reflects the steady, long-term evolution of the winery's style, quality and philosophy.

Each bottle in the collection carries a heraldic coat of arms as a symbol of the brand and its core values. The helmet at the top stands for the noble character of the wines. The many hills at the base symbolise strength, stability and wisdom, and are the ground in which the central cypress takes root. Two stylised lilies beside the cypress stand for power and sovereignty. The elements surrounding the coat of arms represent the integrity and eternal life of the Barbanera family.

The name "Ser Passo" is said to come from the Latin for "the blood of Jupiter".
