Vinification
The grapes are harvested mechanically in early autumn. Vinification takes place in temperature-controlled stainless-steel tanks, followed by stabilization in stainless steel.
Ageing
The wine is aged in stainless steel.
Label / history
Abele Bolla founded the winery in Veneto in 1883. Its wines won a gold medal at a competition in Bologna in 1909. The winery produced its first Amarone vintage in 1950. In the late 1960s, Brown-Forman acquired a 40% share and began distributing Bolla wines in the United States.
