La storia del nostro logo è una storia d’amicizia

When the agricultural business was founded in 1998, the Cantalici family asked their friend Giuliano Ghelli to devise an emblem capable of expressing their home and conception of wine production. Ghelli responded with a detailed painting that became the winery’s logo.

At its centre is the historic Fornace di Ridolfo, described in this account as a late-fifteenth-century kiln once associated with Messer Ridolfo, then mayor of Florence. The kiln produced bricks used for houses, churches and parish churches in the surrounding area.

Ghelli placed the furnace on the Chianti hills beside three cypresses. Flames rising from it connect the building’s original function with the family’s passion for wine, while a vine shoot reaches toward clouds and a bright sun. The original painting remains in the furnace, and its image appears on the winery’s bottles as a continuing memorial to the artist and his friendship with the family.
