Carus Vini adds charging for electric cars and bicycles

Carus Vini installed charging facilities for electric cars and bicycles at the winery. The station appears on the Enel X and Google Maps networks and allows visitors to recharge while taking part in a tasting.

During daylight hours, electricity comes directly from photovoltaic panels on the cellar roofs. The car charger has a Type 2 C connection, a stated output of 7.5 kWp and a listed tariff of €0.60 per kWh. The project links visitor services with the estate’s renewable-energy programme.
