Vineyard and terroir
The vines grow on stony soils at a planting density of 7,000 vines per hectare. They are trained using the Candelabro system, described as a flat form of alberello. Harvest takes place at the beginning of September.
Grapes
100% Sangiovese.
Vinification
The first fermentation takes place in stainless-steel tanks. The second fermentation occurs in the bottle, following the traditional method.
Ageing
The wine matures in bottle for 36 months.
