The fruit comes from three Mazzei family estates: Zisola in Sicily, Castello di Fonterutoli in Tuscany, and Tenuta Belguardo in the southern part of Tuscany’s Maremma.
Grapes
Nero d’Avola comes from Zisola, Sangiovese from Castello di Fonterutoli, and Merlot and Alicante from Tenuta Belguardo. The four varieties form a balanced blend.
