Questo vino
Vineyard and terroir
The Corvina comes from a single 3 ha vineyard in the heart of the Valpolicella Classico zone.
Vinification
The grapes are picked with particular care and placed in boxes to dry for 20 days. They are then fermented and macerated for 20 days, followed by full malolactic fermentation.
Ageing
The wine is aged for 18 months in small French oak barrels.
Label / history
"Jema" is devoted to showing Corvina in its pure form and the different ways it can express colour, aroma and flavour. The name comes from the Italian "gemma", which has two meanings: a bud on the vine and a precious stone. The wine is made only in limited quantities and in the best vintages.
