Vineyard and terroir
The fruit is grown in Sicily in vineyards managed using sustainable farming methods. Cantine Ermes cultivates more than 6,000 ha across the provinces of Trapani, Agrigento and Palermo, encompassing varied terroirs with distinct microclimates and geologically diverse soils.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested when ripeness and acidity reach their intended balance. Traditional red-wine vinification takes place in temperature-controlled steel vats to retain freshness and a bright varietal character.
Tasting profile
Sangiovese contributes a slightly austere character, balanced by the lively, spirited character of Frappato. The wine is fresh, with a bright varietal expression.
