Tasting profile
Fresh and fruity, with abundant fruit aromas and flavours, its taste resembles that of Beaujolais Nouveau.
Label / history
“Vino Novello” means “young wine” in Italian. Unlike Beaujolais Nouveau, it may be produced from different grape varieties and is officially released on 6 November, 11 days before its French counterpart. This Novello was a new addition to the Fabiano range.
Fabiano was founded in 1912, when Francesco Fabiano opened a wine shop in Venice near St Mark’s Basilica. The company initially concentrated on selling wine. In 1955 it acquired a small estate in the Veronese area, on the shores of Lake Garda, where the first Fabiano wines were produced.
