Vine-Pruning Course at Ferruccio Deiana

The course, promoted by Istrù – Formazione e Territorio within the Native Wines of Southern Italy project, was scheduled from December 2025 to April 2026. Dario Deiana, consulting agronomist-oenologist Gianluca Ventroni and AIS sommelier Davide Piga were to lead pruning and tasting activities. Dario described pruning as the most delicate intervention in the vine cycle because it determines plant balance and wine quality. The programme offered twenty places and two full scholarships for qualifying participants.
