A Veneto regional press release described the MASARI project at Maglio di Sopra in the province of Vicenza as work toward Europe’s first organic DOC wine. Regional president Luca Zaia praised Massimo Dal Lago and Arianna Tessari’s strategic choice, said he had personally visited the vineyard and offered regional technical assistance. He also expressed the hope that the initiative could lead to government approval of a biodistrict.
