Vineyard and terroir
The fruit comes from the "Poggio a'Venti" vineyard, at 500 metres above sea level. The vines are more than 20 years old and grow on limestone and clay soils, which contribute freshness and a firm structure.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested by hand, then macerated and fermented in open oak and chestnut vats. The wine is bottled without filtration or fining.
Ageing
The wine rests for 30 months in large oak casks, followed by six months in bottle.
Tasting profile
Fresh and firmly structured, with depth and complexity while retaining its natural character.
