The fruit is grown in Puglia on limestone and clay soils. The region has a warm Mediterranean climate, with surrounding seas moderating its hot conditions.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested at optimal ripeness and vinified in stainless-steel tanks under controlled temperatures.
Ageing
Before release, the wine rests in large oak casks in the winery’s cellars.
Label / history
The name “Codici,” meaning “codes,” refers to the cultural codes of Apulia.
