Vineyard and terroir
The grapes grow at 800 m above sea level in a vineyard presented as the highest in Verona. The vines are 7–20 years old. The soils contain marl, clay and organic matter, contributing to juicy, intensely flavoured fruit.
Vinification
After harvest, the grapes are transferred directly to fermentation without pressing. Fermentation takes place at 15–16 °C.
Ageing
The wine ages on its fine lees for six months.
