Slow Wine — 26 February–1 March, Bologna Fiere
The article presents slow tasting as a mindful way to experience wine through its flavours, aromas and textures. Its central principle is to favour quality over quantity, remain present and devote enough time to noticing a wine's nuances and craftsmanship. This approach is also associated with moderation and responsible drinking.
Four practical stages are proposed: choose a quiet, comfortable setting without distractions; engage the senses by examining colour and clarity, swirling the glass and identifying aromas; take small sips while considering flavour and texture; and pause afterward to reflect on and discuss the experience.
