The published retrospective covered Le Potazzine through a vertical tasting extending from the 2004 vintage to the then-current releases. Its introductory portrait identified Gigliola Giannetti as the principal figure at the estate and noted that she ran it with her daughters, Viola and Sofia. It also characterized the five hectares then under vine as lying in one of the highest and coolest parts of the appellation.
