SQNPI participation formalised an integrated-production approach intended to protect the territory and its rural traditions. The protocol requires synthetic chemical substances to be reduced to the minimum and fertilisation to be rationalised in line with ecological principles and the health of growers, residents and consumers. The national certification scheme identifies plant products obtained in conformity with regional integrated-production standards.
