The new organic wine: Unico Verdiso Brut Nature

The first Unico Verdiso Spumante Brut Nature Millesimato Biologico was produced from the 2020 harvest. Verdiso is native to the Treviso foothills; a document from 1788 records that the Abbey of Follina required its cultivation by tenant farmers.

Sparkling production begins directly from the must in a single fermentation to retain primary aromas and freshness. A long period on the yeasts in pressurised tank places the method within the Charmat Lungo category.

Unico joined Carattere and Sincero in an organic project started in 2017. The collection combines organic cultivation and unfiltered expressions with an emphasis on territorial character and environmental responsibility.
