Grapes
The blend is made up of Prugnolo Gentile (the local name for Sangiovese), Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon. The text gives no proportions.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested at optimal ripeness, then gently pressed and fermented in stainless steel tanks. Maceration lasts 18 days at a temperature of at least 30 °C.
Ageing
The wine is aged in Slavonian oak barrels. It then matures further in bottle in the winery's cellars before release. The text gives no durations or barrel sizes.
