The Carapace enters the World's Best Vineyards ranking at number 25
The Carapace entered the World's Best Vineyards 2024 classification at number 25 and received the Highest New Entry distinction. The results were announced in the United Kingdom on 4 November at an event organized by William Reed.
The ranking was decided by 500 wine and tourism specialists. The recognition focused on the Carapace as both a functioning cellar and a work of art: a copper dome emerging from the hills of Bevagna and Montefalco, with a tortoise-inspired shape and surface fissures recalling the furrows of Umbrian soil.
Alessandro Lunelli connected the result with the family's objective of making wines that express and promote their territory while treating beauty as a distinguishing element of Italian production.
