The vineyard lies in the municipality of Maiolati Spontini at 100 metres above sea level.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested by hand in several passes at the end of October. Traditional vinification includes extended maceration on the skins.
Ageing
The wine ages for 14 months in new barrels, followed by further maturation in bottle.
Tasting profile
The aroma is complex, while the palate is rich and juicy.
