The grapes grow on hills in the provinces of Ancona, Macerata and Ascoli Piceno, at an altitude of 150–200 metres.
Grapes
The blend comprises equal proportions of Montepulciano and Sangiovese.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested by hand during the first ten days of October and undergo traditional red-wine vinification.
Ageing
The wine matures in stainless-steel tanks.
