A Platinum Award Win for the Bottle That Started It All...

The original Noughty Sparkling Chardonnay was named a winner in the Food and Alcohol Free Drinks category of the 2026 Janey Loves Platinum Awards. Judges included Janey Lee Grace, Glynis Barber, Carrie Grant and Jo Wood.

The recognition carried particular significance because Sparkling Chardonnay was the first Noughty bottle. The company decided in 2018 to become fully non-alcoholic, and Amanda Thomson launched the wine in 2019 with the aim of creating a sparkling wine suitable for dinner, a proper wine glass and celebratory toasts without relegating it to the status of a compromise option. Thomson connected the award with the broader change in attitudes towards drinking and thanked both the judges and the customers who had incorporated Noughty into social occasions.
