Label / history
The Villa Diana range is dedicated to Diana, the Roman goddess of nature and hunting, femininity and fertility. Often depicted as a graceful huntress with a bow and quiver, accompanied by hunting dogs or deer, she inspired the bow used as the range’s symbol. The black label features gold embossing and an image of the bow, reflecting her mystery and strong character.
The name also refers to the Abruzzo origins of the grapes. One third of the region is covered by national parks inhabited by wild animals, including deer, which were especially dear to Diana.
