Label / history
The Villa Diana range takes its name from Diana, the Roman goddess associated with nature, hunting, femininity and fertility. Often depicted as a graceful huntress with a bow and quiver, accompanied by hunting dogs or deer, she is represented on the label by a bow. The black label has gold embossing intended to evoke her mystery and strong character.
The name also refers to Abruzzo’s unspoiled natural landscapes. National parks cover one-third of the region and support wildlife including deer, an animal particularly dear to Diana.
