Vineyard and terroir
The fruit is grown in Friuli-Venezia Giulia in northeastern Italy, on sandy and marl soils.
Vinification
The bunches are carefully selected and gently pressed in pneumatic presses. The juice ferments in stainless-steel tanks at a controlled temperature.
Ageing
The wine remains in the same stainless-steel tanks for around six months, followed by a further two to four months in bottle.
Tasting profile
When young, it has a distinctive palate and a clear herbal aroma. With time, it develops greater depth and richness. It is balanced and elegant, with a long, slightly tannic finish.
