Questo vino
Vineyard and terroir
The grapes grow in vineyards in Friuli-Venezia Giulia, north-eastern Italy. The climate and soils of marl and sandstone help the fruit reach optimal ripeness by the second half of September.
Vinification
After harvest, the grapes are destemmed and gently pressed. The must is drained and immediately cooled to 10–12 °C, then clarified and fermented.
Ageing
The wine rests for about six months in stainless-steel tanks, followed by a further two to four months in bottle.
Tasting profile
Light and refined, with a rounded profile, balanced acidity and delicate aromas of white acacia with a subtle hint of wormwood. In its youth, it has firm structure and a fresh taste; with age, it develops a different character.
Serving and pairing
Suitable as an aperitif and with a wide range of dishes.
