The new vintages of Brunello and Rosso di Montalcino from Abbadia Ardenga at Vinitaly

At Vinitaly 2026, Abbadia Ardenga presented its new Brunello and Rosso di Montalcino releases in Hall 9 within the Brunello Consortium area. The wines reflected recent investment in the vineyards and cellar and the estate’s multi-year collaboration with oenologist Paolo Caciorgna. Director Rosanna Zari described the current style as centred on the typical character of Brunello and Sangiovese, with particular emphasis on freshness and acidity. She also reaffirmed the estate’s connection with the consortium, which Abbadia Ardenga joined as a founding member in 1967, and highlighted growing investment in wine tourism.
