“L’estate sta finendo e un anno se ne va…”

Michela described late August as a moment for reviewing the year and preparing for a new cycle. The 2024 Nebbiolo had just been bottled, freeing a tank for the incoming harvest, and the priorities in both vineyard and cellar were cleanliness and order.

Growing up above the cellar had made the atmosphere of harvest part of Michela’s life from childhood. The estate expected limited quantities during the following months but remained confident in the quality of the wines.

September engagements included an aperitivo with the producer at Enoteca Cin Cin in Meina on 6 September, ENO’ Florence Wine Excellence at Fortezza da Basso on 20–21 September, and the Go Wine Lounge in Alba on 28 September. Barbaresco DOCG Sanadaive was the featured wine, linking the name Sanadaive to the Piemonte dialect form of San Rocco Seno d’Elvio and to the Rizzi and Rocche Massalupo crus.

The cellar remained open from Monday to Saturday for sales, visits and tastings by advance booking, while the courtyard continued to serve as BikeSquare’s Langa del Barbaresco e-bike collection point.
