Tòiu: Our Barbera Superiore is now dedicated to our dad, Vittorio

Three years after Vittorio Adriano’s death on 24 May 2022, Michela recalled the annual memorial held in his honour with wine, football and food. The spring release of the 2022 Barbera d’Alba Superiore introduced a new name: Tòiu, the nickname used by Vittorio’s friends.

The wine had long represented conviviality for the family. Its new dedication commemorated Vittorio as someone who welcomed people into the cellar for a toast, shared whatever he had and always had a smile to offer.

The June programme also included Dolcetto Summer Fest in Rodello and Diano d’Alba, the opening of the R-Woman exhibition in Alba, Crema Wine Festival and Sbarbatelle 2025 at San Martino Alfieri. The R-Woman exhibition addressed women’s lives in a complex world and followed the family’s support for the wider project.

The courtyard BikeSquare station remained open, and cellar sales, visits and tastings continued from Monday to Saturday.
