The 2022 vintage in Carmignano

Autumn and winter 2021–2022 brought little rain and mild temperatures. Budding began later than in 2021, and the estate escaped frost. Rain at the end of April supported strong vegetative growth. By 22 May, flowering was underway and the vines carried numerous clusters. The young Santa Cristina in Pilli vineyard planted in 2020 was also developing strongly.
