Bolgheri: Selvante

Selvante Toscana IGT was introduced as a pure Cabernet Franc selected from Segalari, the highest vineyard area in Bolgheri, where clay soils contain a flaky stony fraction. It joined the pure-Merlot Baia al Vento and pure-Petit Verdot Gallico. Together, the three projects express a strategy of assigning each international variety to a specific Campo al Mare parcel.
