Perché non siamo andati al Vinitaly?
Two pandemic years prompted the family to reconsider both its working methods and quality of life. The resulting direction is to remain family-run and avoid significant production growth. The Alta Langa project was expected to stabilize production across approximately 15 wine types, while future priorities would be increasingly precise care, biodiversity and the healthfulness of the wines.
The family also wants closer relationships with customers, greater attention to individual needs and better communication. Digital meetings demonstrated that distant relationships could be maintained without large fairs. After two years away from major events, the family concluded that crowded halls, rushed appointments, warm stand lighting and imperfect tasting conditions conflicted with its pursuit of balance, reflection and appropriate production times.
It therefore decided to leave Vinitaly in favor of smaller, focused tastings such as Grandi Langhe, customer-organized sessions and relaxed visits to the family cellars. Where personal visits are impractical, wines can be sent for unhurried tasting at home.
