Albeisa Leggera: Light on the Table, Light on the Environment

Aurelio Settimo has long used the Albeisa bottle. For wines bottled in 2025, the estate changed to the light version, weighing approximately 450 g rather than the traditional heavier model’s 575 g—a reduction of about 30%. The lower glass weight requires less raw material and energy, reduces associated carbon emissions and waste, and lowers the total weight of pallets during transport. Bottle capacity remains unchanged despite the shorter format.
