Ecofriendly wine bottles by I Balzini in Barberino Val d’Elsa

Vinibuoni d’Italia and Verallia recognized I Balzini with the 2017 Ecofriendly Diploma. The environmental programme included organic vineyard products, cultivation designed to avoid chemical weeding, lighter bottles, photovoltaic generation, a cellar designed to operate without energy for temperature control and the elimination of polystyrene packaging. Antonella D’Isanto connected these measures with the protection of vineyard quality, natural resources, consumers and future generations.
